Terms & Conditions

HIPPO COMPUTER TRAINING LLC (“HCT”) limits the provision of its educational, Training services to students, participants, employees of companies registered or not registered and government organizations including those who are sponsored by their respective organizations.

We invite you to read the terms and conditions carefully and understand them in detail. (“Standard HCT”)

GUARANTEE OF QUALITY

Our Guarantee of Quality provides our customers with the opportunity to attend and select their course/s of their choice. If a customer sends us a written notice of dissatisfaction with a particular tutor for the courses of their choice within 03 days of the course start date, the customer will be offered to retake the course at no additional charge in an alternative batch of the same course or when another batch of the course shall be scheduled to commence, by applying/adjusting the prepaid tuition fees against another course attendance. No refund of the any paid fee paid for courses shall be payable under any circumstances to the students and participants.

TERMS FOR OUR COURSES 

  • COURSE TUITION FEE

The tuition fee for each course and fee payable schedule will be defined in writing to the students and participants prior to start of each course and payable as per the schedule. Our fees for each course shall be excluding VAT and will be charged on the total invoice value. If the fee is payable in installments, VAT will be also charged on pro-rated invoice value and shall be payable with the invoice.

Tuition fee shall not include cost of fees payable to accreditation partners. If in case the students and participants would require a certificate including from an accreditation partner or authority, this shall be payable separately by the student and/or the participant. Only a course attendance or participation certificate from the institute will be issued for programs excluding certification programs and courses.

The course tuition includes instruction; course materials; the use of software, computers and other technical hardware as appropriate to the course/s’. The course tuition fee does not include food, travel or any other expenses unless and until it is explicitly stated in writing.

  • SUBSTITUTIONS PERMITTED

We welcome the enrollment of a qualified substitute in an original enrollee’s place, provided the enrollee or the customer notifies us in writing before the first day of the corporate training and awareness course/programs. Substitutions for certification courses are not allowed.

  • ONSITE CANCELLATION POLICY

If a student and/or a participant needs to cancel or reschedule any event less than 07 days before the scheduled start of the event, course and/or program, they will be subject to a cancellation fee in the amount of 50% of the fee. However, if the event is rescheduled to execute within ninety (90) days of the cancellation date, then a cancellation fee in the amount of 25% of the event fee will apply.

  •  FLEXIBLE TRANSFER/CANCELLATION POLICY FOR COURSES

If a participant or a student would like to cancel or transfer their course, they must notify HCT prior to two weeks before the start date of the course or within seven days of registration. If a participant and/or a student transfers to another course prior to two weeks before the start date or within seven days of registration of the course in which originally enrolled, 100% of any prepaid course tuition will be applied toward the course tuition for the subsequent course.

  • CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS

HCT Programs is any course that may consist and shall include use of 3rd party materials, exam vouchers, certifications, specialized instructors, special software licenses, or premium labs and course kits. A course could have one or all these attributes to be considered a Premium Course and Class. The cost to execute these courses are higher than our awareness and corporate training programs. HCT reserves the right to designate courses as “Premium” based on these or other high costs associated with executing these events.

Some of the certification programs can be a Blended Learning Programs to provide access to a blend of training, support, and other 3rd party materials offered within a subscription period.  The subscription period and components associated with each program will vary based on the specific program being offered and selected for purchase. The agreement is on a subscription basis for each attendee, and purchases under the program are non-refundable.  Once the subscription is paid in full, or a purchase order is accepted, the attendee can access all program components during the subscription period. the program and fee are not transferrable, and no refund is provided for any program components not used during the subscription period.

HCT has no influence on issue certificates to the students by the accreditation partner. Each course shall have pre-qualification requirements from the accreditation partner in addition to their competition of course attendance, successful attempt and pass out of examination conducted by the accreditation partner. HCT shall do its best efforts to inform all such requirements to the student and shall not be held liable or responsible in case an accreditation partner fails to issue a certificate to the students.

  • AWARENESS COURSES

HCT Corporate awareness courses are designed to suit skill improvement that may allow participant self-paced learning solutions including workshops, flexibility-based home exercises and learning, availability of time and suiting individual professional needs.

  • CORPORATE TRAINING PROGRAM

Corporate training is a program designed to “bridge the gap” between classroom training and the workplace. The coaching is done usually at the workplace or a hotel or in the HCT campus depending upon the agreement with the company/corporate requirements. The training shall focus on attendees to impart specialized professional training to update competencies and define additional skill gaps if any.

  • PREMIUM TRAINING BUNDLE PROGRAM

These programs shall offer an additional level of enhanced access, including unlimited access to a multi-day course, extra training, support, HCT developed and other 3rd party materials offered within a subscription period.  The subscription period and components associated with each program will vary based on the specific program being offered and selected for purchase. The agreement is on a subscription basis for each attendee, and purchases under the program are non-refundable.  Once the subscription is paid in full, or a purchase order is accepted, the attendee can access all program components during the subscription period. No refund is provided for any program components not used during the subscription period.

  • TERMS FOR ALL ON-SITE COURSES

If a customer needs to cancel or reschedule any course and/or program (“event”) less than 10 days before the scheduled start of the event, the customer will be subject to a cancellation fee in the amount of 50% of the event fee. However, if the event is rescheduled to execute within ninety (90) days of the cancellation date, then a cancellation fee in the amount of 25% of the event fee will apply. Any event cancelled or rescheduled that is non-standard in length, content, delivery method, etc., based on customer requirements and request, and the customer cancels the course, the customer will pay for all incurred customization fees, or performance costs associated with the event.

  • SECURITY

The customer agrees that all course participants will abide by security measures in effect at the course location, all terms and conditions set forth by HCT.

  • COURSE POSTPONEMENT/S’

At times, we must change a course location, course date or postpone a course. We will try to give the customer as much advance notice as possible of any such change. If the customer is unable to revised location or date, we will refund 100% of any prepaid course fees paid against a future course or, if requested, refund those fees.

  • COPYRIGHT/INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The customer can use any course materials provided or made available in connection to our courses or our partners/vendors courses solely during and for the purposes of the course and does not have any ownership interest or license to these materials for any other purpose, use, or time. All copyrights, patents, designs and other intellectual property rights in or relating to any course materials provided or made available in connection with our courses or our partners/vendors courses remain the sole property of the owner. No part of any course materials may be used for any other purpose, reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, disseminated, or transmitted, or published in any form.

  • INDEMNIFICATION

The customer, student, participant, corporate and company agrees to defend, hold harmless, and indemnify HCT, its affiliates, and its partners/vendors against any allegations, investigations, claims, actions, demands, damages, expenses, fees (including attorney’s fees and court costs) caused by, arising out of, or related to customer’s or a third party’s unauthorized use, reproduction, dissemination, publication, transmission, or storage of any materials provided or made available to customer in connection with our courses or our partners/vendors courses, including but not limited to any alleged infringements of patents, trademarks, registered designs, design rights or copyright.

  • THIRD PARTY SERVICES/PRODUCTS

HCT may provide advertisements of third parties on our website and/or feature information, materials, products, or services provided by third parties. HCT makes no representations with respect to, nor does it guarantee or endorse the quality, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of such third-party materials, information, products, and services you may access. Your correspondence and any other dealings with third parties on our website are solely between you and the specific third party or third parties. HCT has no control over and expressly disclaims responsibility and liability for all third party provided information, materials, programs, products, and services covered on or accessed through our website, and you agree that HCT not be responsible for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as a result of any of these dealings or as the result of the presence of such third parties on our website.

  • GENERAL

These terms and conditions set out above represent a complete statement of the agreement between the parties and supersede all prior discussions, correspondence and representations. Our brochures and advertisements are for information purposes only and are not intended to form any agreement between HCT and the recipient for all offered programs.

These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice and changes will apply to any enrollment/course order received after the date of the change. These terms and conditions may not be varied except in a written agreement signed by an authorized officer of HCT. HCT’s acceptance of a purchase order containing different terms and conditions does not modify or supersede these terms and conditions. This agreement will be governed by under the laws of the emirate of Dubai, without regard to any conflicts of law.
